Restoration of 1880’s house included:
- roof and parapet work including rebuilding of parapet walls, chimneys,
membrane roofing and installation of slate roof, cornice restoration and
interior painting
- façade work on north, south, east and west included cleaning, repointing,
brick repair and replacement
- restoration of south-west balcony including the repair of drainage system
- restoration of brownstone entrances at 19 and 20 Gramercy Park South
- construction of a lead coated copper decorative bulkhead
Project completed in the fall of 2004
