Claremont Riding Academy


Located at 175 West 89th Street, This landmark was designed in the Romanesque Revival style by Frank A. Rooke in 1892.

Major exterior, as well as interior, restoration of this landmark included:
  • The complete rebuilding of the upper section of façade
  • Furnishing and installation of custom carriage house sectional doors
  • Removal, casting, and installation of iron newel posts and railings at front façade
  • Fabrication and installation of historic wood windows
  • Replacement of damaged bricks with historically correct matching ones

The American Hotel - Sag Harbor, Long Island

PRESERV completed phase two of the façade restoration work at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, Long Island.

New custom fabricated brownstone lintels and sills were installed to replace the deteriorated original stone from the 1840's. The brickwork was cleaned and repointed. In addition, the brownstone and brick cornice, with brownstone decorative cast stone, was rebuilt and fully restored.

Work will resume this Fall on the South façade.
