French neoclassical town house built between 1915-1916 for Lucy Drexel Dahlgren by Ogden Codman. Served as the home of Pierre Cartier for many years.
Restoration and repairs included:
- Complete cleaning and pointing of the limestone façade and brick masonry courtyard elevations
- Limestone patching and replacement
- Slate roof replacement at mansard roof
- Copper cladding at barrel roof dormers and at parapets and bulkheads
- Main roof replacement and coping replacement at main roof
- Structural concrete slab at basement and cellar
- Decorative railing replacement and restoration
Project completed in the Fall of 2004
