114 Liberty Street
Restoration of 1880’s light industrial/warehouse building that was damaged in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
Scope of work included:
- Façade rebuilding and associated structural steel repairwork and installation
- Cleaning of the entire façade with pressurized water and Prosoco cleaners
- Cutting and repointing of entire façade with a lime blend mortar formulated to match the historic mortar in color, texture, profile, and design
- Cutting out and recaulking of all window perimeter joints
- Removal of existing roofing down to deck and installation of new membrane
- Cornice fabrication and restoration
Project completed in the Spring of 2003
